I have been a nurse for over 30 years. Over the past several years, my focus has been on dementia care, transitional nursing and Hospice. My life changed as began to care for my mother in law with ALS and my dad who had Alzheimer's- both who lived with us.
Through my experience in caring for them, then seeing people out in the world trying to navigate their health care, I realized the great need. Whether it be a new diagnosis, an acute operation, aging or a desire for support and guidance, the need is immense. Dementia is scary and uncertain. Cancer is too. Even a knee operation can bring challenges. Many just do not know where to turn.
We want to alleviate that anxiety and offer clarity and assistance. LexHealth Advocate specializes in providing personalized healthcare advocacy services to ensure you receive the best care and support in and out of a hospital. I vow to care and guide in a way that I would my own.
